West Point Church which is otherwise known as West Point Baptist Church sits on Asbury West Virginia. It is formerly located on a west point of a ridge. This is the reason why it was christened as the West Point Church. When it was moved to its present location, its most popular name was kept - West Point.

The West Point Church was founded in 1859 and after almost a century has passed, the West Point Church stood firmly on its roots; establishing the Baptist faith and building up unity among the people in its community.
